I haven't been paying attention to baseball at all lately but apparently this douche has been getting into all kinds of shit lately including charging the mound and starting a brawl with the Marlins tonight. Sanchez from Florida gave him a pretty sweet clothesline.

I don't know if anyone has been paying much attention, but the Cardinals are sort of in a free-fall. They've lost 5 in a row and are 3-7 in their last 10 games.
New manager discussion

Since it appears the search is in full swing now, I thought it would be worth starting a thread on the topic.

The more I think about it, the more I'm liking Ryno for the job -- and not just for sentimental reasons. He was a smart ballplayer, he's proven himself and worked his way up the minors, he understands the unique pressures that come with playing in Chicago, and he would definitely have the respect of the players.

Other thoughts?
